Easter Fun

Our Easter weekend was filled with fun and energy. It's always so joyful to see how the little kids find such wonder in the smallest things. On Saturday we had lunch and an egg hunt in my moms school. Hahaha, we showed that rain we wouldn't be beat! The kids had a great time finding the tricky hiding places that Josh and Mick put the eggs. And Cheide was amused to see some of his eggs in the lights and other places no normal sized person could possible reach. (Josh lifted Mick up to put them there.) Kelly and Josh had fun teasing each other on the white board, and the kids all found a hiding place of their own. On Sunday we were blessed with enough sunshine to have a great bbq with my mother and father -in-law and Mark, my brother in law. We enjoy having them over and wish we could do it more often.
I also pointed out to Cheide that Easter is not just the celebration of candy and eggs but the celebration of the Resurrection and that we should shout for joy knowing that one day we will both be able to see our dads once again. I am so thankful for the sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us, and the blessing it has been in my life. I have gained such an awesome testimony in the last 4 years and it is invaluable to me.
